Euial Jack Ivey, 85, of 95 Euial Drive, entered into eternal peace at his home on February 22, 2012. He is predeceased by his parents, Luther and Tura Ivey; and brother, Louis Ivey.

Mr. Ivey was a Seaman First Class in the Navy and was a dedicated employee of Pickens Roofing for 53 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Geraldine Patton Ivey of 59 years; brothers, Frank Ivey, Joe Ivey (Miriam); sisters, Myrtle Easler, Trennie Mangan; daughter, Sonja Melton (Jerry); son, Mike Ivey (Robin); loving grandchildren, Jerome Williams, Eric Gowan, Amanda Ivey, Shanna Wall (Jeremy); and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the home.

Visitation will be at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel from 1:30-2:30 PM Friday, February 24, 2012. Services will follow at 3:00 PM at the chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 430 Roper Mountain Road, Suite E, Greenville, SC 29615.
