Ruth C. Fletcher, 70, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills-Landrum. Born June 18, 1941, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Webb and Hannah Belle Hollifield Colley, and wife of the late William Calvin Fletcher.
Ruth was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and retired from Mayfair Mills.
Survivors include her children, Chris, Roddy, and Kevin Fletcher; sisters, Lois Jolley and Genell Lewis; and brothers, Cecil and Don Colley. She was predeceased by two brothers and six sisters.
Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2012, at Fairview Baptist Church, by the Rev. Ty Childers and the Rev. Charles Hall. Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family extends thanks to Journey Hospice for their care and support.
The family is at the home of her sister, Genell Lewis.
