Peggy O'Neil Chastain Jolley, 77, of Lyman, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born March 14, 1935 in Cherokee Springs, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lucile McGarity Chastain.

A graduate of Fairforest High School, she retired from Community Cash Grocery Store after 25 years of service, and was a member of Wellford Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Ben Jolley, Sr.; sons, Robert B. Jolley, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Chapin and Richard L. Jolley and wife Kim of Spartanburg; daughter, Elizabeth J. England of Charleston; sister, Eve Bishop of Woodruff; brother, Darrel Chastain of Spartanburg; and grandchildren, Annie Boiter-Jolley, Bonnie Boiter-Jolley, Lenza Jolley, and Andrew England. She was predeceased by a brother, Joel Chastain, and a sister, Gayle Chastain.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 PM Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Wellford Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM at the church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Carl Poole and the Rev. Mike Stokes. Burial will be in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wellford Baptist Church Building Fund, 235 Syphrit Road, Wellford, SC 29385.
