Marvin Larry Parham, 65, of Spartanburg died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his home. Born December 12 1946, he was the son of the late Thomas Parham and Laura Brady and husband of Linda Gail Moore Parham. Butch was a former employee of Spartan Mills and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Rhonda Blake and husband Jay of Fountain Inn; a son, Cory Parham and wife Jennifer of Enoree; four grandchildren, Madeline Hempel and Isaac Blake both of Fountain Inn, and Abby Gail and Hayden Parham both of Enoree; a sister, Arlene Worley; and a special friend, Jeff Calvert of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by a son, "Boopy" Parham.
Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 25, 2012, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Cash at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marvin "Butch" Larry Parham Memorial Fund, P.O. Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
