Marion Long Repokis, of Spartanburg, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born November 16, 1925, in Roxboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hassell and Inez Harris Long.

Mrs. Repokis graduated from Watts Hospital School of Nursing in Durham, NC. She was a licensed registered nurse, but her true passion was that of a devoted wife and mother. She was very involved in the life of her children and grandchildren, and was also a volunteer in her church. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg.

Surviving are her sons, Mark Henry Repokis and wife Phyllis of Halifax, VA, and Wesley Long Repokis and wife Tonya of Seneca, SC; four cherished grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Leon Long and wife Carolyn of Roxboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry "Hank" Repokis; and two brothers, Charles Nathaniel Long and Robert Hassell Long.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by the Rev. Sal Barone, the Rev. Bill Adams, and the Rev. Robert C. Morgan. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Old Stone Church Cemetery, Clemson, SC.
