Margaret Lee Millwood Powell, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born May 10, 1928, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Boyce Lee and Minnie Bumgardner Millwood.

Margaret retired from Spartan Mills after 38 years of service and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Richard T. Powell and wife Sandra; daughter, Wendy B. Powell; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Jack B. Millwood. She was predeceased by sisters, Bernice Harmon and Gladys Easler.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:30 PM Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Jack B. Millwood, Jr. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
