Freddie D. "Nana" Cohen, 100, of 3577 Brampton Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of 606 Mesa Lane, Moore, SC, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Friday, August 3, 2012, at Myrtle Beach, SC. Born September 5, 1911, in Lando, SC, she was the widow of Woodrow W. Cohen and daughter of the late Cora Jackson and William "Bill" E. Dawkins. She was a member of Unity United Methodist Church, 206 Hart Street, Union, SC.

Nana is survived by two children, Stanley W. Cohen (Gail) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Linda D. Hinson (Bill) of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren, Kelly O'Brien (Colin), Kimberly Alexander (Mark), Jamie Wolfe (Hope), and Jay Cohen; two step-grandchildren, Brian Lazar (Allison) and Kevin Lazar; 11 great-grandchildren; and a dear friend for over 50 years, Jennie Mitchell.

Services will be private and conducted by Mr. Michael Cohen of Spartanburg, SC.
