Don M. Gilliam, 79, of Spartanburg, died Monday, July 30, 2012, at Magnolia Manor-Inman. Born June 28, 1933, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late George Washington and Sarah Ann Wilson Gilliam.
A U. S. Army veteran, Mr. Gilliam retired from Beverage Air after 45 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Rebecca Eubanks Gilliam; sons, Don Keith Gilliam of Union City, TN, John Randall Gilliam of Campobello, SC, and David Kip Gilliam of the home; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers.
Private graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Andy Case in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family is at the home.
