Bonnie L. Roach of 164 Lake Road, Chesnee, died Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 27, 1932, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Mary Magdaline Anders Dunnaway. She was retired from Hoescht-Celanese after 20 years of service and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Marvin Grady Roach; a daughter, Cathy Wheeler Lawson (Roger) of Spartanburg; a son, Douglas Wheeler (Sandy) of Spartanburg; granddaughters, Bonnie Lawson-Evatt (Patrick) of Greenville, Michelle Wheeler of Greenwood; grandson, Roger Michael Lawson of Spartanburg; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Loyd Dunnaway of Spartanburg; sisters-in-law, Lanell Gregg of Gaffney, Mary Jo Huskey of Chesnee, Diane Jolly of Greenville; brother-in-law, Leland Roach of Chesnee; and loving and faithful pet, Ellie May.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Harold King.
The family is at their respective homes.
