Condolence & Memory Journal

I will always have good memories of you and your Brother and the love of your pets. It was my pleasure to know you and be trusted to take care of the fur babies when you travelled. You will be missed.

Betty was an icon and pioneer in art education in our state. Spartanburg was the gold standard when I began my career as an art teacher. I will miss her deeply.

I remember Betty as a talented and enthusiastic artist with very fond memories as
the visiting art teacher at Pine Street School.

Betty was a great asset to arts education in our state. I have not seen her often in recent years, but she always remembered. I sometimes saw her at the Peace Center. My condolences .....

Family of Dr. Bramlett: I am sorry for your loss. I remember her as a devoted lover of the arts. I am a former secretary at Carver Jr. High...70's.

I was one of those young minds influenced by Miss Bramlett in the 1950's. She inspired me to be creative and to have a life-long appreciation for things artistic. Thank you, Miss Bramlett.

Dearest Betty , Thankyou for being a mentor to me! You always had words of encouragement and support. I will miss your emails and phone calls and lunches with Jean! I will miss your laughter and talks on art and new ideas in the art world! Your love for your animals were so precious! Your twinkle in your eye when you talked about your dear Brother will be missed! The beautiful abstract works with your woven pieces placed in the Collage' forms were so much a part of your creative art. Each told a story of your theme and each were a part of your life! Now no doubt you are in Heaven and have created art works for our Master! You will always be remembered and we will celebrate your Beautiful Life on earth! Love, Mary Ann Powell Kirby
