Condolence & Memory Journal

(Salmos 37:29; Apocalipsis 21:3-5).

Sinceramente,

To the best father-in-law in the world, you will be dearly missed by all. I think of your kindness and your love of family and the gentle unconditional love you had for all of us. We have comfort knowing you are with, Reina, your wife of over 60 years that you missed so over the past year.
What a wonderful reunion when you saw her so beautiful and happy!
I know you got a great big hug from Michael when he saw his grandpa.
We love you, Patty, Miguel and Morgan

You are the best man I'll ever know, and likely the best man I ever will. You always put your family first and thought of them before yourself right to the end. You were always THE man to me, the one person I wanted to be more like. You are full of LIFE and LOVE and LAUGHTER (little Aerith makes you laugh), and the only thing that ever took that away from you was not being with those that meant the most to you. I try to emulate you each day, and while I fail on so many of them, it's largely because of you that I ever succeed at all. I cherish those successes, as few as they may be, and I treasure whenever anyone might catch even the briefest of glimpse of you in me.

You are not gone. You are with us, you are in us, and you live on each day that any of us look to you as how to live our lives, and love in life, as you would have done. We will see you again soon. Just as you have now been reunited with the love of your life, and other loved ones who had gone before, we too will be reunited with you. I'll do my best to be the kind of man you would be proud of in the meantime, the kind of man you would have been. I love you Abuelito. Thank you for always showing me what a man, a husband and a father, are supposed to be.
