My heart goes out to all of Josh's family and his many, many friends. I never got to meet Josh in person, but I do have one very good memory of him.
He returned to Fort Hood from Afghanistan before my son did. I was feeling bad that I could not travel to Texas to greet my son when he got off the plane. I reached out to Josh on Facebook, and asked him if he would be there. He told me "of course, will NOT miss it!!" I asked him to please have a beer and some barbecue chicken wings ready for my son when he arrived, and he promised me he would. It made me feel so much better. He was polite, helpful, and respectful. Such a wonderful young man. He will surely be missed by so many.
