I am sorry for your loss. May the love of God and friends carry you through this time of great sorrow. (Psalms 9:9)

Ms. Babb was one of my first nursing instructors in 1986. Her teachings were the foundation of what nursing should always be......treat each patient as they were your family member. She was kind and wise. I am honored to have been under her guidance as a student. I stood in line with her about a year ago at the visitation in Greer for Diane Stone. Ms. Babb told me I looked familiar and we talked about the days when I was a student. I am so glad I saw her then. As a nurse today, I hope that I will always carry her teachings with me.

I am so grateful that I was priveleged to have had Nancy as my 'Fundamentals of Nursing instructor in the 1970's. She taught me well. She was proud of her profession and taught her students to feel the same. Fortunately, I was able to stay in contact with her because my sister, Betty Pryor, was one of her best friends. I had breast cancer after she didand she was so much help to me during that time. She is a very "special " person to me and I will always hold her in my heart. I LOVE YOU,NANCY.

I am so honored to be one of the nurses Miss Babb taught at USC Upstate. I am now a teacher at RD Anderson ATC. I teach health science classes, serving high school students from Spartanburg County school districts 4,5 ,and 6. I love what I do and Nancy Babb is and will always be the biggest influence of my professional life...both as a nurse and an educator! She touched so many lives and her passion will carry on in generations to come because my best lessons were influenced by this amazing woman! My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends! May God bless you.

Our deepest sympathies are with Nancy's family--Rueben, Brenda and family.
As my older cousin, Nancy probably never knew what a role model she was for me as a young woman watching her and hearing about how she was in the world. Warm, accomplished, determined, kind, and always present when in her presence. Definitely a healing presence.

Our prayers are with you all that you may be buoyed by the wonderful memories of Nancy during this time of separation and sorrow.

As one of the nursing students from those early USCS years, I could never adequately express how much Miss Babb affected me personally and in my nursing career. Thank you, her family, for sharing her with us, and God for giving her the talents and abilities and knowledge she so readily shared with so many. Carolyn Reynolds, RN

My " Dear Nancy" my friend of 67 years. Growing up I spent endless hours at the Babb home. We would play in the snow, go into the woods and look for our favorite Christmas tree, eat Mrs. Babb's home made vegetable soup, aggravate Rueben, and much more. We played together, went to church and school together, we prayed together, we worshipped together, sang together, and we cried together. She walked the talk of her Christian faith, and I know Heaven is rejoicing today as they celebrate her homecoming. I will miss you my Friend.
