Uncle Ray was one of my Daddy's (Claude Foster) favorite relatives. He always had a smile! I cherish the memories I have of Ray & Carolyn at Grandma Foster's house in Roebuck. He was such a strong, smart and kind man. May he rest in peace.

You were more like an Uncle than a cousin. Daddy (Claude) always consider you a brother! I will always remember you as a big man with a big heart and always joking around with me. May you now R.I.P. with all your other "brothers". Carolyn, you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am sorry but I am unable to travel so I will not be able to get down there.
With all my love.

Carolyn and family, I am so sorry to learn of our dear sweet Ray's passing...He was always a very special, sweet, kind and Godly man...I will remember him mostly when I worked at American Fast Print and he sold chemicals ...Then discovered we were related and he knew my Daddy....He showed up at a funeral of my family and from then on, we were "BESTIES"...Sending you and the family my deepest regrets and sympathies ..Love To You All..You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember Ray's visits to Gran Gran Jarrett's house in Roebuck, SC. I remember his visits to Daddy (Charles E. Moore of Moore, SC) and how he always had a joke and a smile.

I enjoyed going to First Baptist Church and seeing him there. He meant a lot to our family and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

I know that he is well, he is out of pain and he and Daddy are sitting around with Gran Gran and Papa Jarrett telling "fishing" stories in heaven tonight.

Love You,

Jean Moore Sanderson

To all who loved him Uncle Ray will be missed. I love his smile and laugh Ted the most. Uncle Ray eyes always sparked like the evening stars. Love you always.
